All shoes are hand painted by me using the appropriate paints depending on the type of shoe used. On all canvas shoes, I use fabric paints which allows you to machine wash them. On all leather shoes, I use a professional leather preparer, acrylic paint and then they are sealed 3 times using a professional leather paint sealer to prevent peeling and chipping. All you need to do to clean these is wipe with a damp cloth.
I change out the laces with coordinating grosgrain ribbon and do include the original laces as well.
